In Abilene, Texas, I have practiced Otolaryngology, HN Surgery since 1996 moving here West Palm Beach Florida (1990-1996). From 1996-2023 I practice with Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist’s until this practice entity including ENT Property’s was sold to Hendrick Medical Center. I joined my daughter, Dr Ashley Hall, to start Abilene Allergy ENT on April 3. 2023 at her new office building located at 3 Hospital Drive.
I am also involved at the Abilene Taylor County Public Health District serving at the County Health Authority and City of Abilene Medical Director for their COACH and MERCY CLINICS. I am
Ask over the Immigration, Refugee and Immunization Clinics.

Dr Heller completed residency training via NOVA Southeastern and started practice as a comprehensive Ophthalmologist in Phoenix, AZ. His passion for surgery led him to learn multiple new techniques in refractive and MIGs technology. While not in surgery, Dr Heller stays busy with his state of the art FDA guided Research department which always has several studies actively enrolling patients in glaucoma, dry eyes, cataract and presbyopia.

Graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University , Summa Cum Laude , May 1985. Graduated from Univ. of North Texas (Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine) , with honors, June 1990. Internship at Mt. Clemens Hospital 1991. Residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck /Orofacial Plastic Surgery 1991 to 1995. Founded Western Michigan ENT, pc in Manistee, MI 1995 to current. Currently fellow of AOCOOHNS, AAOA, AAOHNS and certificate of added qualification in Otolarygnic Allergy through AOCOOHNS. Regional board member of ACOOHNS, board member of Northern Physician Organization and President of Trillium ACO , board member of Munson Manistee Hospital x 14 yrs. Hobbies including musical/ plays with Mansitee Civic Players since 2002, traveling, reading and spending time with 3 wonderful children Miranda (attending Ohio State Univ. Vet school) , Meredith (attending Wayne State Medical School ) and Jonah (wildlife biology major attending Central Michigan University).

Dr. Hermsen enjoys treating pediatric and adult Ear, Nose, and Throat diseases. This ranges from recurrent ear infections and recurrent sinus infections to skin cancers. She originally wanted to be a Family Practice physician, however she grew a strong interest in surgery during medical school. She is committed to patient education and trusted care.
