WESTIN DETROIT METROPOLITAN AIRPORT HOTEL REGISTRATION INFORMATION 

Guest rooms may be arranged at the Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport Hotel by contacting the Westin reservations online at https://www.starwoodmeeting.com/StarGroupsWeb/res?id=1303076596&key=5CE0D or by calling 866-837-4179 (Group Code:  AOCOO913).  Rates per night are $139.00* Single/Double Occupancy.  The Westin will release unsold rooms on August 28, 2013.  Reservations made after August 28th will be confirmed by the Westin subject to space and rate availability.

*Nightly room rate does not include applicable state and local taxes.

Reservations at the group rate cannot be guaranteed by the AOCOO-HNS.

 

AOA CME REQUIREMENTS

AOCOO-HNS members must maintain membership in the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and must fulfill the AOA continuing medical education (CME) requirement that they complete 120 CME credit hours in the 3-year CME cycle, 30 of which must be AOA Category 1-A; if board certified, physicians must earn at least 50 of their total 120 credits in their primary specialty. The remaining credits may be obtained in Category 1-A, 1-B, 2-A or 2-B. Beginning with the CME cycle ending December 31, 2012, AOA members who have not fulfilled their 120 CME hour requirement will have 5 months of the 2013-2015 CME cycle to fulfill their CME requirements. The current AOA CME cycle is from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015. 

Check the status of your current CME credits by going to the AOA website at www.osteopathic.org. CME Activity Reports (CAR) are available for AOA members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To view and print the latest copy of your CAR, log in with your AOA I.D. and password or click Create an Account to create a password for AOA member access. You must have or create an account with the AOA to use this Internet-based system.
