Anyone can learn to meditate with these controlled breathing techniques. Join neurologist and mindfulness expert, Dr. Romie Mushtaq, for a seated guided group meditation class. Many people who find that they cannot achieve a meditative state at home, can during our guided meditation sessions. Learn while you practice, and leave with instructions on how to continue a mindfulness-based meditation program at home. The results? Uplevel your brain peak performance for a centered, calm and productive day.

Objectives:

1. Discuss the importance of identify stress within ones life and how to best manage it.
2. Review various breathing and mindfulness-based techniques that providers can easily perform during their daily practice.
3. Provide instruction in how to properly conduct these techniques.
4. Identify strategies as to how providers can implement these techniques into patient care.
